The story begins when the protagonist, Sotomura Naoki (Kento Yamazaki), who lives in Hokkaido, meets Soichiro Itadori (Tomokazu Miura), a high school piano tuner. Sotomura feels as if he can smell the breath of the forest from the sound of the piano tuned by Itadori, and is attracted by this job and the world of tuners, so he starts working at the musical instrument store where Itadori works. Among the people connected by the piano, he also meets the high school piano sisters Kazunori Yuni... This is the story of a young piano tuner who grows up after experiencing troubles, confusion, and setbacks.
