Plot:
A remake of Sidney Lumet's 12 angry men in 1957. A Chechen boy is accused of murdering his adoptive father, a Russian officer. All witnesses and evidence are against him. The 12 jurors discuss this and will decide the boy's future fate. The 12 jurors come from different industries and races. At the beginning, everyone was absent-minded and didn't care about the case. Except for a physicist, they all thought the boy was guilty. However, the physicist aroused the respect for life of the other 11 people. They began to discuss the case seriously, telling stories and experiences in their lives, and while deciding the boy's fate, they also examined their own inner world. In the end, when they reached a consensus, the decision of the jury chairman (Nikita Mikhalkov) was unexpected...
