IFC Films has acquired the North American distribution rights for the thriller An Acceptable Loss, directed by Joe Speer and starring Jamie Lee Curtis and Tika Sumpter. The film will have its world premiere at the Chicago Film Festival this weekend. The story tells the story of Elizabeth (Sumpter), a former US security adviser, who is threatened by her colleagues because of her secret past. Curtis plays one of her colleagues, a female politician who will not give up until she achieves her goal.
