Downton Abbey screenwriter Julian Fellowes, actress Elizabeth McGovern and director Michael Engler have confirmed their collaboration on a new film, The Chaperone. The story is about a woman (Elizabeth McGovern) who trains a 15-year-old dancing girl (Julia Goldani Telles) to become a star in New York in the 1920s. The film will seek international buyers at the Cannes Film Festival.
