Plot:
Keigo Higashino's novel "Rondo" will be adapted into a live-action film, with Hiroshi Abe as the lead actor. The story tells of the theft of the biological weapon K55 from the Medical Research Institute. Hiroshi Abe plays a researcher facing a mid-life crisis, searching for buried biological weapons in the snowy mountains. The film is directed by Teruyuki Yoshida, the director of the NHK morning drama "Ama-chan", and is currently being filmed. The other cast members have not yet been announced, and it is tentatively scheduled to be released locally on November 26.
