Pedro Almodóvar, Antonio Banderas and Penelope Cruz will collaborate on the new film "Pain and Glory" (DoloryGloria), which will start shooting in the first half of July. Unlike Almodóvar's previous film "Julieta", the film's protagonists will be two men, played by Banderas and Asher Etseandía, and Cruz and Julieta Serra will play supporting roles. It tells the life story of a film director in his later years, including first love, second love, mother, death, and some actors he has worked with, spanning the 60s, 80s and now, and a sense of emptiness that makes him unable to make movies now.
