54-year-old Ryoko (Miho Nakayama) is a novelist. One day, she was suddenly diagnosed with Alzheimer's disease by a doctor. Faced with the terrible disease, Ryoko decided to use the little time she had left to complete the last novel of her life. In addition to writing novels, Ryoko worked as a lecturer at the university. After class, Ryoko and her students came to a pub for a small gathering, where they met a Korean student named Changhai (Kim Jae-wook). Changhai's conversation and outlook on life are different from those of his peers, which deeply attracted Ryoko and made her want to understand what was in the boy's mind. Ryoko's hands could not move, so she asked Changhai to be her hands and help her write. In the process, a sincere relationship developed between the two. But Ryoko knew that this relationship could not have a happy ending.
