Plot:
STXfilms has acquired the North American distribution rights for the new film "The Best of Enemies" starring Taraji P. Henson and Sam Rockwell. Babou Ceesay ("Rogue One"), Anne Heche ("Dangerous Secrets"), Wes Bentley ("American Horror Story"), Bruce McGill ("White House Detective"), John Gallagher Jr., Nick Searcy and others participated. Producer Robin Bissell ("The Hunger Games" and "Free State of Jones") made his directorial debut and adapted the script from the book by Osha Gray Davidson. Henson plays Ann Atwater, a civil rights activist in Durham, North Carolina, who fought against KKK leader CP Ellis (Rockwell) for 10 years until 1971, when the two agreed to co-host a two-week community meeting to deal with the court-ordered school desegregation law. This meeting changed their lives.
