The story takes place in 1921. Margaret (Catherine Frollo) is a woman who loves music but sings out of tune. She owns a large castle near Paris and a small group of audiences listen to her singing in the castle, but these hypocritical audiences secretly laugh at her behind her back. A young reporter wrote an article about her performance. Margaret is convinced of her musical talent and wants to give a public performance. It is adapted from the story of American soprano Florence Foster Jenkins, who became popular in the 1930s and 1940s because of her poor singing skills.
