Plot:
Glenda Jackson (Women in Love) will star in the new BBC film Elizabeth Is Missing, which is her first return to the big screen in 25 years. Aisling Walsh, director of Maude, is directing the film, and Andre Gibb (Frankie, My Love) is writing the script. The film is adapted from the novel of the same name written by Emma Healey, and the story revolves around an old man named Maude. Maude's best friend Elizabeth disappears. Maude believes that something terrible has happened and sets out to solve the mystery. As her dementia worsens, time becomes more urgent. The film will start shooting in Scotland this summer.
