Plot:
When Theo Dyck was 13 years old, his mother took him to visit the Metropolitan Museum of Art in New York. However, a terrorist bombing occurred in the museum, killing his mother, but Theo miraculously survived. This tragedy changed Theo's fate. From then on, he grew up with grief and self-blame, cheering up and redemption. However, no one knew that Theo secretly collected a souvenir of the incident, which was his only comfort when he recalled his mother - a painting of a bird chained by a chain - that was the world-famous work "The Goldfinch" that everyone thought had disappeared in the explosion of the Metropolitan Museum of Art.
