Plot:
The film is set during the Japanese colonial rule and is adapted from the true story of the Korean bicycle hero Uhm Bok-dong. It tells the story of Uhm Bok-dong, a patriotic bicycle shop clerk who insisted on participating in major competitions for more than a decade, soothing the traumatized hearts of the people under colonial rule at the time, and eventually becoming a patriotic and inspirational hero. "Uhm Bok-dong" is a film about the true story of a bicycle hero active during the Japanese colonial era. Uhm Bok-dong, a bicycle shop clerk, participated in the 1913 All-Korea Bicycle Competition and won the championship. He continued to be active in many competitions for more than a decade, becoming a bicycle hero and soothing the hearts of the colonial people.
