The film consists of four short stories. Danny DeVito is a middle-aged man who lacks exercise; Ellen Burstyn is a blind old lady with a disease; Julie Delpy plays a gentle and instructive mother; Greta Gerwig puts on glasses and turns into a homegirl. Everyone has different attitudes towards dogs, but what they have in common is that dachshunds are indispensable and close friends in their lives.
