Plot:
Inspired by the iconic DC story created by Jeph Loeb and Tim Sale in the mid-1990s, Batman: The Long Halloween begins with a brutal murder on Halloween, prompting Gotham City's young vigilante Batman to strike a deal with the city's only two incorruptible law enforcement officers (Sheriff James Gordon and District Attorney Harvey Dent) to take down Roman, the head of the notorious Falcone crime family. But when more deaths occur over Thanksgiving and Christmas, it becomes clear that they're not facing ordinary gang violence, but a serial killer - whose identity becomes increasingly difficult to discern with each conflicting clue. Few cases test the wits of the world's greatest detective like the mystery behind the Holiday Killer.
