Ruth (Melanie Lynskey) is a nurse working at a rehabilitation center. In fact, she also suffers from depression and is taking medication for treatment. After a very unlucky day, Ruth returned home tired and was shocked to find that her home had been robbed by gangsters and her valuable laptop was missing. The huge pressure made Ruth feel that she was not far from collapse. The next day, Ruth ran into Tony (Elijah Wood), the hateful man who often let the dog relieve himself in his yard. After that, Ruth's mobile phone searched for the signal sent by the bound computer. Ruth called the police, but the police were unwilling to help her. In desperation, Ruth had to find Tony for help. Unexpectedly, Tony agreed and soon took action.
