Gabe (Sylvester Stallone) is a member of the mountain rescue team. For him, constantly conquering one seemingly unreachable mountain after another is the whole meaning of life. However, during an operation, Gabe's negligence caused his friend to accidentally fall off the mountain and die. He was filled with guilt and regret and decided to give up climbing.
