This work is adapted from the novel of the same name by Natsue Shiomi. The love story of Akane Niwa, an "excellent student" who cannot give up her mask and always observes the people around her, and her classmate Fukagawa Aomai, who is free and unrestrained and loves painting. Akane is not good at getting along with Aomai, who is the exact opposite of herself, but she is attracted by his paintings and straightforward personality, and her world begins to become colorful. But both of them actually have secrets that they cannot tell anyone.
