During the Chilean coup in 1973, the German couple Daniel was kidnapped by the secret police of dictator Pinochet. Lina followed them to a closed community, Colonia Dignidad, which the Chilean military government used as a base for torture and secret human experiments. It was led by former Nazi Paul Fischer. Lina pretended to join them in order to rescue Daniel.
