Jim, a smooth-talking young man from a small town, gets a job as a janitor at a department store. On his first night on duty, he finds himself locked in the store with Judy, the daughter of the richest businessman in town and the prettiest girl. Judy, who runs away from home, is determined to get to Los Angeles, but first she has to get through the night.
