Childhood friends Lily and Amanda reunite in suburban Connecticut after years of separation. One has grown into a glamorous upper-class girl, while the other is a maverick who wanders on the fringes of society. Because Lily has a tyrannical stepfather, Mark, they join forces to use the most destructive methods to fight him, and therefore hire a local con man to carry out their plan.
