He started out in Boston and played a role in the Oscar-winning film The Departed. The Winter Hill Gang founded by Bulger is a famous gang in Boston that does everything from drug trafficking to arms trafficking. In addition, they have connections with many major criminal groups in North America and Europe, including the Irish Republican Army.
