The latest work by Czech surrealist master Jan Svankmajer records the process of an amateur theater troupe bringing the 1924 play "Insect Life" by the Capek brothers to the stage. As a low-cost crowdfunded feature film, it is very good in both viewing and artistic quality. The original script deliberately compares humans to insects, which is full of irony.
