"I'm a Pet in Dali Temple" is adapted from the popular online novel "The Pet Life of Dali Temple Shaoqing". It tells the story of a modern out-of-print Onmyoji Ru Xiaolan (played by Hu Yixuan) who inexplicably turned into a cat and fell into the arms of the handsome Dali Temple Shaoqing Qing Moyan (played by Xu Kaicheng), staging a sweet human-pet love that spans time and space and species, and uncovering the shocking secrets behind all this in a series of strange cases.
