"The Eternal Life" is a movie with two male protagonists. It is the third work in the popular movie series "Fox Tales from a Chinese Studio". It tells the story of a mortal boy named Yunyue (played by Gao Kai) who has lived alone in the world for three hundred years and has been pursuing the secret of his immortality. The young master of the fox tribe in Qingqiu Mountain, Baichen (played by Qi Peixin), was instructed by his aunt Bai Jiuyan that if he repays his kindness in the world, he can ascend to become an immortal. By chance, Baichen and the mortal Yunyue met in the world, which cast a mysterious veil on this fate.
