Nikolaj Coster-Waldau will star in the black comedy Small Crimes, directed by Ivan Kitz and written by Macon Blair. The film is based on David Childsman's novel of the same name and tells the story of a police officer who was imprisoned for six years for attempted murder and returns home to seek redemption after serving his sentence. The film will be pre-sold at the Cannes Film Festival, and shooting will begin this summer, with an expected release date of 2017.
