Veteran comedy stars Will Ferrell and John C. Reilly will team up again to join Sony's new comedy film "Holmes & Watson". Ferrell and Reilly play the great detective Sherlock Holmes and Holmes' assistant Watson respectively. Etan Cohen, the director of "Prison Education", in which Ferrell starred, will be the director of "Holmes & Watson". The script of the film is inspired by Arthur Conan Doyle's Sherlock Holmes series of novels and is a PG-13 comedy. When Sony first bought the script, it wanted Ferrell and Sacha Baron Cohen ("Talladega Nights: The Ballad of Ricky Bobby") to star, but then nothing happened. Sony plans to start filming right after Thanksgiving (November 24) this year. It is expected to be released next year.
