In a Xinjiang village on the edge of the Taklimakan Desert, the protagonist Parhat is a primary school teacher whose football dream was killed by his father when he was young. A football was blown to Parhat's feet by the wind, awakening his memories and passion for football. Thus, a "God-given" football started the "football dream-chasing journey" of Parhat and a dozen children in his class.
