Plot:
This film mainly tells the story of how Japan attempted to "legitimately" take over its rights and interests in China in the early 20th century - seizing territory through unequal competition. Among them was a city called Qingcheng, where Japan organized a "table tennis match" in an attempt to take over the city. In this way, a makeshift team of all kinds of people, a disabled alcoholic coach, and a gamble where winning means death and losing means humiliation, eventually created the thrilling legend of the birth of "China's national ball" and resounded throughout the world.
