Adapted from the long documentary literature "The Forbidden City Trilogy" by Zhang Jianhua, Chairman of the Jiangsu Federation of Literary and Art Circles, it tells a story about love and bearing, and reproduces the tragic history of the cultural resistance war after the September 18th Incident, when North China was in danger and Ma Heng, Yi Peiji and other Forbidden City intellectuals, with the belief that "as long as the cultural roots remain, China will not perish", moved the Forbidden City's cultural relics out of Peiping.
