Andre Everdorf (Jason Doe) will take over from Guillermo del Toro to direct Scary Stories to Tell in the Dark, with Dan Hageman and Kevin Hageman writing the script and CBS producing the film. Del Toro will be the producer. The film is based on Irvin Schwartz's novel of the same name. The story revolves around a group of young people who must find out the secrets behind the frequent deaths in a small town. The film will start shooting next summer.
