The story takes place in Taiwan in the 1980s. Zhu Dade (Zhu Geliang) was originally an ordinary photographer. He and his daughter Zhu Xiaoqin (Guo Caijie) lived a quiet life of dependence on each other. Later, the father and daughter came to the big city to seek development and want to live a better life. As a result, by mistake, Zhu Dade became the boss of the underworld, and the relationship between him and Zhu Xiaoqin also had a rift. One day, Zhu Dade met a fortune teller named Lao He (Zhu Geliang). The two looked surprisingly similar, and Lao He was mistaken for Zhu Dade and lost his life. After Lao He died, he left his son He Xiang (Yang Youning) alone, so Zhu Dade found He Xiang, and the two formed the "DL Special Forces". Together with Zhu Xiaoqin, who had reconciled with her father, they were determined to avenge Lao He.
