In order to cultivate a generation of young people who are loyal to adults and persevere in adversity, the Japanese government has introduced the "BR" Act. Every year, a class of students is randomly selected from schools across the country to go to a deserted island for an extreme survival challenge - the teacher gives the students maps, food and various weapons, and asks them to kill each other until the last one survives and can leave the deserted island.
