Walid, a 40-year-old depressed man, lives in Haifa with his wife and children and dreams of a career as a writer. Walid's life changes when he befriends his new neighbor, a small-time con man who lives in his apartment building and is deeply in debt. The two gradually become inseparable, but they have different views on this friendship.
