Lee Young-ae may star in the new female action thriller "Amazing Gu Kyung-yi" (경이로운구경이, tentative translation). "Amazing Gu Kyung-yi" will be the Korean version of "Killing Eve". The drama is directed by Lee Jung-hoon ([Nobody Knows]) and written by a new team of writers from variety shows. The story tells the tense battle between the heroine, who used to be a police officer and is now an investigator after her husband died, and the murderous female college student. Lee Young-ae will play the very suspicious heroine. She is a new type of detective with bent shoulders, sunken eyes, loose skin, ghost-like walk, and often wears ankle-length coats.
