Plot:
The movie "Ministers of Namsan" is based on the ministers (deputy prime minister level) of the Korean Central Intelligence Agency (KCIA) and the political conspiracies they led. The original novel of the same name, which reveals the inside story of Korean politics, was recreated with the stories of successive ministers of the Central Intelligence Agency, Kim Jae-gyu and Kim Hyung-wook. In the second half of 1979, the YH Trade Women's Cage Incident, the expulsion of New Democratic Party President Kim Young-sam from the National Assembly, and the October Buma Incident broke out one after another, and the political situation was uncertain. Kim Jae-gyu of the Central Intelligence Agency had friction with the hard-line Presidential Security Office Chief, and Park Chung-hee gradually disliked and distrusted him. On October 26, 1979, at the Central Intelligence Agency residence in Gungjeong-dong, Jongno-gu, Seoul, Park Chung-hee and the Presidential Security Office Chief were shot dead by Kim Jae-gyu with a pistol during a banquet.
