In the past, when monsters appeared from the Pacific Rim, there would be giant mecha hunters built specifically to fight them off. But good times don't last forever. Now Australia is being ravaged by monsters and the entire continent is forced to evacuate. Tyler and Hayley, a pair of young siblings, are unfortunately lost. They are anxious to find their missing parents. In the process, they learn to control a long-abandoned, shabby mecha hunter, and thus have hope of overcoming the difficulties in front of them and fighting for a glimmer of hope.
