The male protagonist Gou (Sawada) is a man obsessed with movies and has no time for his family. When he was young, he (played by Masaki Suda) wanted to be a director, so he went to the crew to work as an assistant director. He fell in love with the girl Shuko (played by Mei Nagano) who worked in the cafeteria at the time, and had a good conversation with the projectionist Terashi (played by Yojiro Noda) about movies. When Gou finally waited for the opportunity to make a movie, an accident made the movie come to nothing. Half a century later, the original script appeared again, and the fate of the family also changed.
