This is a real movie that truly shows the history of the Japanese attack on Pearl Harbor. The U.S. military intervened in the Pacific battlefield. The highest Japanese general Yamamoto Isoroku (played by Sô Yamamura) believed that the U.S. military was powerful and should fight quickly and not fight a long war with the Americans. So, the attack on Pearl Harbor, which he planned, was officially launched. Although the U.S. military learned from the Japanese secret telegrams intercepted previously that the Japanese army might launch a surprise attack, most people were dismissive of it, and the contents of the secret telegrams were not reported. Even on the day of the raid, a U.S. soldier discovered an unusual group of aircraft on the radar, and the U.S. generals still believed that it was their own aircraft on patrol. In the end, the Japanese sneak attack was successful and the U.S. military suffered heavy losses. Yamamoto Isoroku also became the biggest thorn in the eyes of the Americans.
