Lionel (Edward Norton) has a very tragic past. His mother died when he was very young. Lionel, who was helpless, was sent to an orphanage. Fortunately, here he met a man named Frank (Bruce Willis). After struggling in the orphanage for so many years, Frank has been providing protection and help to Lionel. After leaving the orphanage, Frank set up a private detective agency, and Lionel worked in it. One day, Frank went to deliver a very dangerous and mysterious document, but he didn't know that this task made him lose his life. Frank's death brought a huge blow to Lionel, but now is not the time to mourn. Lionel decided to find out the truth behind this death and get justice for his old friend.
