In November 1944, thousands of Allied troops fought against the German army on the flooded island of Walcheren in Zeeland. The fates of three young people intertwined: a Dutch boy working for the Germans, a British glider pilot, and a Zeeland girl forced to join the resistance. The three faced a fateful decision: their freedom, and that of many more, now rested in their hands.
