Detention is a Taiwanese campus suspense historical thriller released in 2019. It is adapted from the computer game of the same name by Red Candle Games and released by Warner Bros. The film is directed by Xu Hanqiang and stars Wang Jing, Fu Mengbo and Zeng Jinghua. It tells the story of a group of people who are unwilling to obey the authoritarian system in a mountain high school during the White Terror period in Taiwan and are persecuted by the government.
