Plot:
On July 15, 1988, a university was filled with the enthusiasm of graduates. With this restlessness, the frivolous Dexter (Jim Sturgess) walked through the walls of people, looking for a beauty with whom he could spend this last night of carnival and romance. He set his sights on Emma (Anne Hathaway), a smart girl from an ordinary working family. However, after a short exchange, nothing happened between them, but they were destined to change each other's lives. In the following years, the two met and separated as friends and confidants, sharing the bitterness, sweetness, sourness and various feelings of life with each other. Dexter experienced the ups and downs of his career and marriage, and Emma tasted the bitterness of life at the bottom. They are confidants who are closely connected in their hearts even though they are far away from each other, and they are the most sincere but farthest apart love in their hearts... This film is adapted from the best-selling novel of the same name by British writer David Nicholls.
