Clara (Mackenzie Foy)'s mother left her when she was very young, and the only thing left to her daughter was a box containing a priceless treasure. Drosselmeyer (Morgan Freeman) is Clara's godfather. At a party hosted by him, a mysterious golden thread guided Clara to find the key to open the box. However, Clara was teleported to a mysterious parallel world. This is a magical world created by Clara's mother. Four kings are in charge of their kingdoms respectively, and the key that Clara dreams of is in the hands of the most evil one among them, Queen Ginger (Helen Mirren). Her existence makes this originally peaceful and prosperous world gradually fall apart. Clara must cooperate with the kind friends she met here to regain the key and crush Queen Ginger's rule and ambition.
