The TV series "Kill Bandits" is set in Tianjin during the Anti-Japanese War. It tells the story of six classmates, led by Nankai University top student Lu Zizheng (played by Zhang Yishan), who formed an anti-Japanese group called the "Kill Bandits Group" to defend Tianjin.
