Helen Mirren and Ian McKellen are set to star in New Line's feature film The Good Liar. The film will be directed by Bill Condon, whose most recent work is Beauty and the Beast, which grossed $1.2 billion worldwide. In the film, Sir Ian plays a professional con man who can't believe his luck when he meets a wealthy widow played by Helen Mirren. The widow opens her life and home to the con man, but the con man realizes that he really cares about her, turning a deal that should have been a scam into a dangerous relationship like walking a tightrope.
