The "Iron Knight" was once a popular boy doll toy produced by Mattel and was also made into a TV series. The story of this live-action movie version was originally created by Christopher Yost, the screenwriter of "Thor: The Dark World". The story tells about a 16-year-old boy Max McGrath who lives in a small town with his mother. His scientist father died mysteriously shortly after he was born. Max has a super energy that he cannot control. It was not until he met the alien Steel with advanced technology that he learned to use it. The "Iron Knight" was born!
