In downtown Hong Kong, the world's tallest and most complex skyscraper is sabotaged, and a crisis is imminent. Will Sawyer (Dwayne Johnson)'s wife, Sarah (Neve Campbell), and children are taken hostage on the 98th floor, directly in the line of fire. Will, a war hero and former FBI rescuer, is framed for arson and murder as the building's security consultant. He must fight to rescue his family and clear his name, as a high-altitude mission that is a matter of life and death begins.
