The story takes place in the 15th year of the Republic of China. Zhu Kefa got a treasure map called "Dragon Head Stick" by chance. Who knew that this treasure map brought a catastrophe to his family. Under the persecution of warlord Guo Tianxing (Zou Tingwei), the Zhu family was destroyed, Zhu Kefa died, and his adopted son Zhu Piaoyi (Zheng Jiaying) and his wife Liu Yingchun (Tang Yixin) were separated. With the dragon head stick, Zhu Piaoyi came to Chenjiagou. At the same time, Zhu Kefa's biological son Ma Ning'er (Lin Youwei) colluded with Guo Tianxing and the Japanese gangsters, trying to take the dragon head stick from Zhu Piaoyi through various despicable means. In Chenjiagou, Zhu Piaoyi met Tai Chi master Chen Qingquan and his son Chen Rufeng (Ying Haoming), and thus came into contact with the eight spirits of Tai Chi.
