The film focuses on Antonio Ligabol's dramatic life that shocked the whole of Italy. Although he showed his talent for painting since he was a child, his childhood was very rough. His Italian parents illegally went to the German-Swiss border to work odd jobs. After his mother passed away, he was given to a couple for adoption, but his mental problems made him unwelcome. As his identity problems were exposed, he was forced to be sent back to Italy. He wandered around all his life, in and out of mental hospitals countless times, until he met a sculptor, began to learn painting and sculpture, and became an important amateur artist in the 20th century.
