The film is adapted from a true story and tells the story of what happened when David Foster Wallace (Jason Segel), the author of the best-selling book "Infinite Jest", and a reporter from "Rolling Stone" magazine (Jesse Eisenberg) embarked on a national promotional tour for their new book.
